7 Year Old Lands Work Experience Gig at Legoland!

Just imagine getting to do work experience at Legoland.  7 year old Stanley got to live that dream – and all by his own initiative!

Stanley applied for a position for a Stand-In Model Maker that Legoland Windsor had advertised, and while they couldn’t consider him for that position, they did offer him a day’s work experience!

Here’s an excerpt from Lego’s reply to Stanley:

Loving Lego is the first step to being a model maker, so it certainly sounds like you’ll be perfect for the job (once you’ve finished school of course). In the meantime, we’d love to offer you a one-off work experience day with our model makers.

His application letter is brilliant – and how many of us FOL’s (both of the adult and kid variety) can relate to the struggle of having to hide our Lego.
