It’s World Book Day so this is just a quick post to say how much I love these Lego DC Comics Super Heroes Phonics Books from Scholastic.

Anyone who has a 5 year old will know how hard it is to get them to do their homework, and when it comes to his reading my 5 year old has the attention span of a goldfish. 

But he does love Lego, and he especially loves Lego Batman and these books really do hold his attention.

The stories are super simple – they’re not really story books as such – but they are ideal for creating confidence in little readers. And the illustrations are great.
