Have you discovered Wish yet?
It’s an Aladdins Cave of everything and anything that you could want.
Plastic plants – Check!
Real plants – Check!
Lepin…..ahem.
I don’t want to buy Lepin, or Mega Blocks or Bloctech either for that matter, but there are some fun LEGO related items for sale on Wish. The kind of things that make perfect Christmas presents for any AFOL’s (along with an obligatory LEGO set of course!)
fLEGO APPAREL
First up are my favourites – LEGO ICONIC HANDS YELLOW
I mean how practical are these!? Ideal for keeping your fingers warm on a winter walk – just maybe not so good for scrolling through your phone…
Next up, and great for the non-AFOL in your life that constantly complains about ‘stepping on LEGO’, the incredibly catchily titled
PERSONALITY LEGO BLOCK DESIGN LOVERS SLIPPERS ANTI-SLIP HOME INDOOR SLIPPER SHOES
Phew.
NEWEST HIPSTER MENS FASHION LEGO BURGER PRINTED T-SHIRT FUNNY SHORT SLEEVE T-SHIRTS NOVELTY O-NECK POPULAR TOP
Another product with a great title. They even label what each brick is supposed to be – how convenient.
Okay this next one is quite fun – or maybe not depending on your view of things.
FUNNY DONALD TRUMP BUILD A WALL LEGO COOL MENS BLACK TSHIRT
fLEGO FOR THE HOME
CRISTMAS KITCHEN BUILDING BRICKS STAINLESS STEEL KNIFE SPOON CUTLERY UTENSIL SPOON SET
Stainless steel even! Just image scrubbing the stuck on gravy from those handles…
PS: That typo is not mine!
This one is especially for those who really really love LEGO. Can you image how happy you’re non AFOL loved one would be to come home to this DIY!
And you’ll definitely need these on your doors to match your new, great looking stairs:
NEW FASHION TREND OF THE NEW TREND LEGO BUILDING BLOCKS CHILDREN DOOR STICKERS WOODEN DOOR RENOVATION CREATIVE SELF-ADHESIVE WATERPROOF GATE
fLEGO STATIONARY
“What I remember most about BLOCKS”
The ideal journal for any AFOL to write their block related memoirs.
And for highlighting all the important parts of the memoir above – some cute, stack-able highlighters.
fLEGO FIREPOWER
This next one is actually a little bit scary – it’s pretty realistic looking (though this is coming from someone who has never seen a gun in ‘real life’).
It can even fire Mung Beans.
And another fLEGO gun – look at those bullets!
So how do you feel about products like these?
Do you think they’re crossing a line? They are infringing on LEGO’s brand of course. Just because the products listed above aren’t bricks they’re still benefiting from the culture that LEGO has built as a brand.
There’s a lot of hate out there for fake LEGO, and rightly so in my opinion. But when it comes to silly, fidgety things like those above I’m a bit more lenient.
However when it comes to my bricks I’m a purist – it’s LEGO all the way.
